John H. Stanton of Walpole, formerly of Mashpee, passed away, July 18, 2020
In the Ruth McLain Hospice House in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was the son of Michael and Margaret (Murphy) Stanton. He was raised in West Roxbury and graduated from Boston English High School with the Class of 1952. John married his beloved wife, Joyce Elaine Bowley, on May 12, 1956, in Saint John's Church in West Roxbury.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce Elaine (Bowley) Stanton. Loving father of Cheryl Brown of Denver, Colorado, Donna Stanton of Stuart, Florida, Marylou Brunetta of Winter Garden, Florida, Michael Stanton of Walpole, and Brian Stanton of Walpole, and their respective spouses. Cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of two. Brother of Frederick Stanton of Foxborough and the late Richard Stanton.

Funeral Services will be private, with interment taking place in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Foxborough.
