ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA - Tammy Kennedy, 57, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home.
She was born in Norton, Virginia the daughter of the late Fred Hamilton. In addition to her father, Tammy was preceded in death by a son, Travis Kennedy; and a grandchild, her Angel Baby.
She is survived by her husband Michael Kennedy; two daughters, Tabitha Kennedy, Kayla Kennedy and fiancé, Hooter Kiser; mother, Loretta Wright and husband Ralph; one sister, Janet Beavers and husband Carl; one brother, Rick Wright and wife Diane; One stepbrother, Mike Wright and wife Marina; one stepsister, Pam Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, a funeral service for Tammy Kennedy will be conducted at
7 p.m. on July 20, 2020, in the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Trent officiating. Committal service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Pallbearers will be Nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 20, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia following the same restrictions. A radio broadcast of the service will be available on the Castlewood Funeral Home parking lot on radio station 88.9 FM during the service for those who would like to remain in your vehicle.
