Lewis E. Bogert, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in Indiana. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Salome (Kukuk) Bogert. Lewis was a chef for the former Walps Restaurant, Allentown, for 28 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, Fort Wayne, where he performed as a juggler at the annual Boars Head Yuletide Festival. He served with the Army during the Korean War. Survivors: Surviving are former wives, Yvonne A. Bogert of Bethlehem and Sandra Stewart of Ocala, Fla.; sons, Shawn B. and his wife, Theresa, of Bethlehem, Andrew J. and Daniel A., both of Catasauqua; stepson, Lance E. Furber; daughters, Marcella L., wife of Michael J. Trentacosti, of Fort Wayne, Penelope G. of Bethlehem and Pamela S. of Catasauqua; stepdaughters, Thamar D., Candice B., Tabitha K. and Shannon W.; grandchildren, Leah, Kerry, Lauren, Jonathan, Lindsey, Nick, Tony, Adrian and Michael Jr. Services: will be on Monday, July 31 at noon in the ODonnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Calling will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Contributions: May be sent to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, c/o the funeral home.
