He met and Maria while working in Rensselaer, Indiana. Carlos and his family moved to Lockhart, where he was an employed by the City of Lockhart Parks and Recreation Department. He retired in 1999 after 41 years of loyal service to the city of Lockhart. Carlos spent his retirement tending to his yard and garden. Carlos died on his 86th birthday.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Maria and their children, Alfred, Rachel, Alicia and Carlos Jr.
