He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Barbara Bishop and Donna McKinney.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Smith Bishop of the home; his daughters, Christel Thompson (Greg) of Clarksville, Arkansas; Carrie Johnson (Darby) of Clarksville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Meghan Thompson of Little Rock, Arkansas; Kaitlyn Thompson of Little Rock, Arkansas; Blayne Johnson of Clarksville, Arkansas; his sisters, Betty Lang (Gerry) of Florida; Karen Bishop of Tennessee; and many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and family.
A Funeral Mass is 10 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with Father William Wewers, O.S. B. officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
