Ann was the daughter of the late Donald and Theora “Bobbie” Cottrell. A retired Gallia Academy High School Teacher, she enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, flower gardening – yet, she enjoyed her grandchildren the most. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Porter, Ohio. Ann married Jack Adams in 1967 in Pearisburg, Virginia, and together they shared 53 years of marriage.

Ann leaves behind her husband, Jack and their children: Jodi (Daniel) Sickels, Gallipolis, Ohio; Tandra (Ann Forbes) Adams, Columbus, Ohio and Aaron (Katie) Adams, Lexington, Kentucky to cherish her memory. She will be missed by her grandchildren Cassidy Sickels and Adam Sickels, both of Gallipolis; Chase Adams and Nola Adams, both of Lexington and her sister, Donna Broyles, Gallipolis, Ohio. She leaves behind to watch over Jack their dog, Deucey.

In accordance with Ann’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home,
