BRIGHAM CITY – Angelina "Curly" Archuleta, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Brigham City, Utah on Tuesday, November 2, 2004. She was born on October 1, 1928 in Vetern, Wyoming, a daughter of Joseph and Candelaria Cortez Navarro. Angelina married Robert Archuleta on January 27, 1951 in Malad City, Idaho. She worked at IRS as an auditor and retired after 18 years of service. Angelina was a member of First Baptist Church in Brigham City, Utah. She was a teacher and loved being a part of the church family. She coached little league baseball for four years. She loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Curly enjoyed dancing and going out to eat and loved going out to Wendover.
Surviving is her husband, Robert, Brigham City; four children, Robert C. Archuleta, Arizona; Gabriel (Dolores) Archuleta, Roy; Consuelo (Robert) Perea, Brigham City; Edward (Gennie) Archuleta, Ogden; special granddaughters, Alicia (Luis) and her children, Dominic, Alejandro; LJ; Corona Quintero, Brigham City; Hasba Trujillo, El Paso. TX; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two step children, Edmund Archuleta and Maxine Bye; two brothers and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the First Baptist Church at 12 Noon, 617 West 500 South, Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT.
