Carolyn Mariar Graves was born September 5, 1930 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Osie (Burchett) and Walton Hudson. She went to her heavenly home on July 15, 2020.
She was united in marriage to L. H. Graves on July 30, 1949 in Reno, Nevada. They made their home in Tracy, California moving to Stockton, California in 1956 and then moving to Elmore city, Oklahoma in 1965. Carolyn moved to Davis Oklahoma in 2006 and returned to Elmore City, Oklahoma in 2016. In 2018, she moved to Burford Nursing Facility in Davis.
Carolyn worked for the Department of Human Resources until her retirement in 1988. She was a lifelong member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and a member of Home Extension Family, Community and Education since 1966. She chaired and organized “tune Out Violence: for a number of years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Elmore City.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and two sons-in-law.

Funeral services are scheduled at the Elmore City First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to Alzheimer’s Research Association in honor of Carolyn.
