Ellen Marie Biggs, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Flossie Northcutt; her husband of 48 years, Lid Biggs; sons, Barry Lamb, Kelly Lamb, and Pat Biggs; sisters, Wanda A. Meadows, Thelma Weaks; and grandchild, Mitchell. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mike Lamb and wife, Kay; daughter-in-law, Tina Lamb; brother, James Northcutt; sisters, Virginia Belk, Vickie Parrino; grandchildren, Marshall, Fernando, Rocio, and Juan; great grandchildren, Landen and Gavin; and a host of other family and dear friends. Ellen was a devoted wife and mother that truly loved her family. She worked for Exxon for more than 25 years as a Control Room Operator. Ellen was very artistic and enjoyed painting in oils. She loved teaching art to young children and was known on many occasions to buy their art supplies for them. Ellen enjoyed cooking and having afternoon coffee with her sisters. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, traveling to Las Vegas and going on cruises. Ellen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Ellen will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571. The visitation will take place Monday, July 20, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 am at La Porte Cemetery in La Porte, Texas.
