Regina Barnes West, 62, of Adel died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 11, 1958 in Ben Hill County, Georgia to the late Freeman Don and Retha Luke Barnes and was a lifelong resident of this area. Regina was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She loved making people laugh and was an animal lover.
Survivors include her fiancé, Scott Jones; her children and their spouses, Chris and Amy West, Kim and Rodney Neiss, Tommy R. West, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jordan West, Parker West, McKenzie West, Tyler Neiss, Hannah Neiss, Shelby Watson; four sisters, Faye Mann, Pat King, Martha Ann Osborne, Greta Pye; two brothers, Freddie Barnes, Michael Barnes; numerous nieces and nephews; her birds, Doodle, Toni and Gabby; her yellow lab, Top; her chihuahua, Little Bit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy R. West, Sr. and a brother, Randolph Barnes.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Monday, July 20, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.
