Geraldine “Geri” Holmes, age 87, passed away on Thursday, July, 16, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home, Janesville, WI. She was born in Beloit on June 20, 1933, the daughter of Christopher and Mary (Fair) Miller. Geri married the love of her life, Oren Holmes, in 1952, and he preceded her in death on August 19, 1996. She helped run Holmes and Son’s heating and air conditioning while working for SSI Technologies, and Prent. She loved listening to Elvis and collecting angel figurines. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren. Geraldine is survived by her 2 children, Kristine, and Larry; 2 siblings: Daniel Miller, and Robert Miller; 4 grandchildren: Nathan (Amy), Joshua (Kathy), Justin (Jennifer), and Christopher; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 siblings, Mary Ann (Richard) Thompson, and Rosemarie Dobbs; brother-in-law, Gorden Dobbs; and sister-in-law, Karen Miller.
