Joy Deborah Phillips, age 52, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2014.
A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
Joy attended Congregational United Church of Christ, and was employed with Surgical Center of Greensboro.
She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Goodman Phillips.
Joy is survived by her partner Julie Jarrell of Greensboro; father Albert Phillips of Brown Summit; brothers John Phillips and wife Gayle of Greensboro and Joe Phillips and wife Rebecca of Brown Summit. Also surviving are two nephews, four nieces, and one great-niece.
The family will receive friends following the service.
