Mrs. E. E. Mercer of Third street and Pennsylvania avenue is critically ill of typhoid fever.

Final Summons Of Mrs. E. E. Mercer
Mrs. Elmer E. Mercer, aged 42 years, died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon from typhoid fever, following an illness of three weeks' duration. The deceased was a most estimable lady. She was a daughter of Capt. A. B. Allison, First street, Chester, and was born and reared in the Allison school house district, back of Chester. Besides her husband, Mrs. Mercer is survived by the following children: Wilson, Norman, Emma, Theresa and Amy, all at home. Her father and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. J. C. Cunningham and Ethel Allison, both of Chester; D. W. and John E., both of Shepherds Valley. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon from the home, Rev. Mr. McIntyre, pastor of the First M. E. church, officiating. Interment in Locust Hill cemetery. Arner & Bower, undertakers in charge.

Last Sad Rites
There was a large attendance of friends of the deceased and family at the funeral of the late Mrs. E. E. Mercer, held at 1 o'clock this afternoon from the home. Rev. Mr. McInytre, pastor of the First M. E. church, officiated. Interment in Locust Hill cemetery, Arner & Bower, undertakers, in charge.
