She was born on June 7, 1944, in Brownwood, Texas, to Gerald Truman and Claudia (Cecil) Tittle. She was united in marriage to O. T. Horton in Brownwood. He preceded her in death.
Linda was an outstanding mom, grandmother and great-grandmother and adored her family. In her working years she was co-owner of H. & H. Pool Service in Brownwood. Linda was a homemaker and she loved coloring. She also loved and enjoyed all the time she had with her friends through the years.
She is survived by her son, Billy Shelton and wife Jeannette of Mesquite, Texas; daughter, Cecilia Absher and husband Toby of Washington State; five grandchildren: Christopher Shelton and wife Janet, J. T. Shelton, Eric Shelton, Collin Absher, and Caleigh Absher; and three great-grandchildren: Nicholas Shelton, Alexis Shelton, and Ashlynn Shelton Morrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Claudia Tittle.
