Carolyn, 73, went to Heaven on June 21, 2020. Carolyn was born to the late Clifford and Mary (Pigeon) Mitchell.

Carolyn was dedicated to her career as a clerk for Simplified Accounting for over 55 years. She was a faithful woman who was devoted to her church, Immaculate Heart of Mary. Carolyn was known for the many miles she walked daily, bicycling around town to find a good garage sale, and getting lost in a good book at the library. She loved to read, travel, and visiting the casinos with her sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Debbie (Neil) Coppins, a niece, Gwen Bixler, and a brother-in-law Ray Drouin.

She is survived by her three sisters; Cheryl Bixler, Lori Drouin, and Cathy (Luane) Lumbert; 7 nieces and nephews, Jenny (Cory) Smith, Stephanie Bixler, Michael (Heather) Drouin, Justin Drouin, Lesley (Tom) Simon, Kellie Coppins, and Shaun (Becky) Coppins, five great-nieces and great-nephews, and three special great-great nieces and great-great nephew.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Lansing with Rev. Fr. John Byers as Celebrant. Visitation was Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in memory of Carolyn.
