Sally M. Johnson, age 82,of West Dundee passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family and under the care of hospice on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Sally was born in Elgin on July 28, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Donald & Alice Krahn. She was a lifelong resident of the Elgin-West Dundee areas, a 1955 graduate of Elgin High School and attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in West Dundee.
Sally was a loyal and valued employee of Elgin School District U-46. She worked as the school secretary at Abbott Middle School for 37 years until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years; Donald A. Johnson, Sr. Her 7 step-children; James and Greg Johnson, Patricia Goldberg, Dale, Donald, Jr.(Judy), Johnson, Cheryl( Don) Harrison and Susan Johnson. Other survivors include her 13 step-grandchildren, and 10 step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her 2 brothers; Richard and James Krahn.
