Thomas Anthony Faulkner passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the age of 63.
Beloved husband of almost 40 years to Hilda Faulkner, loving father to Jonathan Faulkner and Amanda (Mario) Gutierrez, grandfather to Felix and Ramon Gutierrez, brother to Edward Faulkner, Brenda Faulkner, Sam McCurry and Tonia McCurry, and many other family members. Thomas also has numerous friends in Northside and in the deaf community.
He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Francis Faulkner and his siblings David Faulkner, Linda Faulkner, Ella Hughbanks, Eileen Townsend, Richard Faulkner, Bonnie Watson and Michael Faulkner.
Thomas attended St. Rita's School for the Deaf and Woodword High School. In 1978 he graduated from Withrow High School.
Thomas enjoyed many years of camping with his family. He loved taking his friends and family fishing locally and then he discovered salt water fishing.
Being involved in the deaf community he made many friends and greatly enjoyed various activities with his friends at the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club. He brought joy to many children and adults in his ongoing role as Santa.
Family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Spring Grove Funeral Home from 10:00am to 10:45am. We do ask that if you are attending please wear a mask. Due to COVID19 restrictions family will be holding a private service by invitation only. Family will also be hosting friends and family via livestream beginning at 10:00am. If you are watching via livestream please write a message to the family on the condolences section of the obituary.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Churches Active in Northside, North Church or Hospice of Cincinnati. The entire service will be interpreted by a sign language interpreter.
