Jonathan “Moe” Campbell, age 42, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was born on May 5, 1978. He was the proud owner of Moe’s Concrete. He loved to hunt, fish, to work on hot rods with his dad, and to spend time with his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nellie Sue Travillian, grandfather, JL Bass Campbell; maternal grandparents, Troy and Flora Carlock; and an aunt, Nan Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Jeamita Winter of Cohutta; sons, Jerick Campbell of Cohutta, Derick Campbell of Cohutta, Austin Campbell of Cohutta, Isaac Campbell of Cohutta; father and stepmother, Johnny and Beverly Campbell of Ringgold; mother and stepfather, Vanessa and Jimmy Hagin of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Amanda Condra of Alabama, Valerie and Terry Caldwell of Illinois; granddaughter, Paislee Campbell; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jonathan “Moe” Campbell will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 20, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Smith and Gary Smith officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Sunday evening from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.
