Leta Lane Jackson, Royalton, formerly of Carterville, passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020, at her family’s home in Royalton.
Leta was born March 31, 1934 in Royalton, IL to Louis and Venita (Fiss) McPhail.
Leta married Don Jackson at the Herrin First Baptist Church in November of 1989. He preceded her in death March 2, 1999.
She is survived by her step-son, Doug; step-grandchildren; step-great grandson; nephew; niece; five great nieces and nephews; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
She preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Loren W. “Blue” McPhail; and nephew, Shane McPhail.
A Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Royalton.
