Sandra "Sandy" Kay Sutton, age 76 of Portage, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was born on February 13, 1944 in Spring Valley, IL to Charles W. and Olga A. (Leitschuh) Sutton.

Sandy is survived by Shirley Seebeck, Sharon Carpenter and family; she was known as "Granny Sandy" to Cece and Cia; Ann Llamas, Darlene Malone, Angelo Angeles, Brad Angeles and family, Adam Angeles and family, Elisa Angeles, Teresita Hipp and her furbaby, Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents and adopted brother, Larry (Butch) Hipp; aunt, Elaine Brown and cousin, Myron "Buddy" Brown.

Sandy retired after 40 years from Bethlehem/ArcelorMittel as an Outside Processing Tech/Dispatcher. Her father was a First Lt. in the United States Army and was able to see her be Baptized before he returned to duty in Europe and was killed in WWII.

She was past president of USW Local 9144 Clerical Union. She loved all animals but especially her dogs. Sandy was a loving friend, aunt and granny and will be deeply missed.
