Martin E. Fitzpatrick, 51, of Needham, died August 24, 2007 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen "Kate" Findlen.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was born on Manchester, NH and was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Fitzpatrick.

A longtime Needham resident, he graduated from Needham High School, class of 1974. He went on to graduate from North Adams State College and earn his Masters Degree in Information Technology from the Marlboro College Graduate Center, Marlboro, VT.

He was an active parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church, Needham and was the Vice President of Brown Brothers Harriman of Boston.

He was the loving and devoted father of Bridget Fitzpatrick, Age 16 and Katherine Fitzpatrick, age 8. He was the brother of John Fitzpatrick of Washburn, WI, Jamie Fitzpatrick of Ashland, WI, Thomas Fitzpatrick of Douglas, MA and Richard Fitzpatrick of Goffstown, NH. He was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Fitzpatrick and son in law of Fred P. and Rosella Findlen of Dedham. He is also survived by 9 nieces and 5 nephews.

His funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham, on Monday at 9:00 AM with a funeral mass in St. Bartholomew's Church, Needham at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Marty's memory to Adoption Choices, 475 Franklin St., Suite 101, Framingham, MA 01702.
