Mary Gulley, 85, was carried away by angels on July 12th, 2020. Born in Crab Orchard, KY on December 24th, 1934 to the late Otis and Geneva West, she was the eldest of five children. She is preceded in death by her brother Logan West and daughter, Kim Robbins. She is survived by her siblings Otto West (Betty), Russell West (Margie) and Roy West; her children Vicki Lynn, Dwight Chaney (Theresa), Sue Topits (John), Mike Gulley, Mark Gulley (Terri), and Scott Gulley (Cindy); her 16 grandchildren and her 27 great-grandchildren.
Mary Gulley was a long-time employee of Walgreens. She loved to read and was an avid collector of Precious Moments and angels. Her most favorite past times were spending time with her flowers and her family, most especially her many grand-babies and her beloved dog, Babycakes. Devoted to her faith, she had a fondness for gospel music. She also appreciated a good bluegrass festival. She will be dearly missed by family and friends alike. May she rest in Heavenly peace.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16th at 9:00 am at Spring Grove Cemetery Cedars of Lebanon Chapel, 4521 Spring Grove Ave.with funeral service to follow at 10:00 am.
