Funeral Services For Mrs. Amanda Crowder
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Methodist church for Mrs. Amanda M. Crowder, aged 70 who died Friday, Oct. 13, at her home in Lanett. Rev. R. B. Lavender and Rev. G. D. Hunt conducted the last sad rites. Interment followed at the Lanett cemetery, Johnson & Blakely, funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crowder, s native of Lee County, was a consecrated member of the Methodist church. She had 'lived in Lanett 39 years, moving here from Langdale. She leaves many friends who mourn her passing. Two brothers, Dave Lawler of Lanett and Jno. Lawler of Fairfax, and one sister, Miss Sid Lawler of Lanett survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. O. Crowder, who died in 1928.
