She was proceeded in death by her parents James William (J.W.) Mitchell and Maggie Earleen Buntyn Mitchell, younger brother Stephen Lanier Mitchell and twin granddaughters Judith Ann and Emily Ann Reaves.
Judith graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School. She was a cheerleader, senior beauty and Salutatorian of her senior class. She attended David Lipscomb College in Nashville. After college she worked as an executive secretary and briefly as a teacher while she lived in the Middle East. Judith came back to her hometown and took floral design classes in preparation of opening A Touch of Class Florist; with Sam later developing; A Touch of Class Plaza; in Fultondale, Alabama.
A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, Alabama on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 12 noon. Gardendale Funeral Home directing.
