Tammy was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School where she was active in basketball, volleyball and softball. She was a true Christian very loyal to her church. A graduate of Asheville Buncombe Technical College, she was formerly employed with the Buncombe County Health Dept. She was a dedicated employee of Mission Hospitals where she worked as a Laboratory Technician for more than 30 years.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, James Charles (J.C.) Phillips; daughters, Alesha Marie Phillips-Crouch (Kevin) and Shanna Lee Phillips; brothers, Danny Morrow and Heath Morrow; sisters, Teresa Williams, Theresa Howard and Nicole Galbreith; other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 11 in Covenant Community United Methodist Church.
