Geraldine Dora Lewis Born: November 1, 1937 Flew Home: July 11, 2020
Geraldine Dora Graham was born November 1, 1937 in Fresno, California. She left this life on July 11, 2020. Her parents were Rofa and Cyrus (Pete) Graham. She and her twin Bernadine were the last of the 6 children born to their parents. Being the babies of the family, along with being twins, they received tons of love and attention. Geraldine attended school in Fresno and graduated from Central High in 1955. She met her husband Burnor that same year and married in November 1955. They were married 62 years, when he passed in 2018. She soon went to work for the telephone company, and in 1958 came a son, Randal. In 1960, another son, Rick was born, and in 1964, a daughter, Pamela. That same year, Geraldine lost her son Randal in a tragic accident, only 6 months after losing her beloved father. Burnor and Geraldine worked hard to build a life together. They had an egg ranch, raised chickens, and had a small dairy. In 1971, they moved the family 2 miles away and purchased the ranch built by Burnor’s father. There, they built a life with their 2 children and taught them the value of working hard and living simply. Geraldine worked at Producer’s Dairy for several years, and the I.R.S. for 10 years. Next, she and her twin Bernadine purchased Sunnyside Health Food Store in Fresno and worked building that business for 15 years. There, they made fast friends with their customers, many of whom stayed friends long after they sold the business and retired. She and Burnor enjoyed many great trips travelling across the United States with friends and family.

Geraldine lost her beloved twin Bernadine in 2014 and has missed her every day since. Burnor passed in 2018 and Geraldine got the news that her heart was in bad shape. She decided to keep living her healthy lifestyle, taking her vitamins and supplements and living each day praising God for another day. She enjoyed attending church every Sunday and talking to friends on the phone. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and attended many family gatherings. We really got to cherish her these past 2 wonderful years.

Geraldine is survived by her son Rick and Karen of Morro Bay, CA, her daughter, Pamela and Steve of Fresno, CA. Her grandchildren, Rick and Jessica of Rhome, TX, Joshua and Diane of Clovis, CA, Natalie of Fresno, CA, and Jacob and Marissa of Fresno. Geraldine also has 6 great grandchildren: Charlotte, Grace, Bethany, Corra, Paxton, and Easton.

In light of the current state of affairs, only private graveside services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Fresno Memorial Gardens.

Remembrances may be made to the Woodward Park Church of Christ Ethiopia fund in Geraldine’s memory.
