Scott Martin, 76, husband of Barbara Rogers Martin, passed away, July 14th, 2020 in his home in Westminster.
Scott was born in Oconee County and was the son of the late Johns Carlton and Ruby Mae King Martin. Scott was a retired carpenter for Clemson University for 27 years. He was an avid music lover, master carpenter, and photographer and was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Scott attended Nazareth Methodist Church and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara Rogers Martin; daughter, Susan Martin Worley, brother; Dick Martin, three grandchildren; Ashley Clark (Joseph), Zach Kelley, Allie Mattison (Lane); and five great-grandchildren; Bentley and Brooklyn Conner, Kade and Karsyn Kelley, and Kyler Mattison.
In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by a brother, Hugh Martin and a son in law, Roger D. Worley.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Friday, July 17th, 2020, at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, with entombment to follow. The family will receive friends from 1 pm -2 pm, Friday July 17th, 2020, prior to the service at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
