James “Ronnie” Ronald Dunaway, 63, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas. Ronnie was born on November 13, 1956 to James Franklin Dunaway and Minnie Mae (Walton) Dunaway in Pensacola, Florida.
Ronnie worked as an iron worker, welder, and mechanic for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Ronnie was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ronnie is survived by his son, Blake Dunaway of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Sarah Dunaway (Marston Burnett) of Pensacola, Florida; grandson, Zephar Burnett of Pensacola, Florida; mother, Minnie Dunaway of Salem, Arkansas; three brothers, Richard Dunaway (Faye) of Pensacola, Florida, Leslie Dunaway of Salem, Arkansas, and Alan Dunaway of Smithville, Tennessee; two sisters, Debbie Mefford (Johnny) of Salem, Arkansas and Cheryl Bryant of Destin, Florida; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, July 17, 2020 at Trahan Funeral Home in Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. until time of service at Trahan Funeral Home in Pensacola, Florida. Interment will be Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Klondike Baptist Church Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
