Loretta J. White, 67, of Cherry Valley, Illinois departed this life on January 25, 2019.
She was born July 6, 1951 to Teckla Glee. Loretta married the love of her life, David White, on October 4, 1969 in Belvidere, Illinois.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She found pleasure in spending summers in northern Wisconsin where she would watch wildlife and sit by the campfire. Loretta also enjoyed collecting different things of interest and took great pride in learning the art of and making jewelry. She looked forward to watching professional NHRA drag racing and rooting for John Force.
Loretta is loved and will be missed by her husband, David; son, Keith; sister, Deanne (John) Newell; uncle, Ward Gable; sisters-in-law, Diane (Bobby) Turley, Dona (John) Decker, and Doreen (Lial) McCullough; brothers-in-law, Douglas White and Michael (Robin) White; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother; father, Fred Glee; maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts, Judy Gable and Sue Gable; brother-in-law, Donn White; and special pet companion, Missy.
A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, 61008. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services. Reverend Mark Harkness and Reverend Richard Wang will officiate.
