Thomas Blegseth was born on February 17, 1949 to Lloyd and Louise Blegseth in Northfield. He attended schools in Northfield and Canon Falls. Tom also attended vocational school in Faribault, graduating in 1995. He was united in marriage to Bonnie King on February 19, 1974 in Faribault. Together they raised five daughters. Thomas and Bonnie later divorced. Tom worked at various places throughout his career. He loved riding motorcycles, cooking and gardening.

Thomas is survived by his five daughters, Mandy (Sal) Pusateri of Owatonna, Tami (John) Zaharia of St. James, Ellen Herrley of Faribault, Ashley Blegseth (special friend, Mo Yusuf) of Eagan, Samantha (Shawn) McCollum of Byron; seven grandchildren, Mathew Blegseth, Haley and Brandon Pusateri, Tegan, Allyson, Cortnee and Jaylyn Herrley; one sister, Nordis Estrem of Dennison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Louise Blegseth; step father, George Hanson; brother, Lloyd Blegseth; sister, Monica Freeman; brother-in-law, Donald Esterm; and his ex wife, Bonnie Blegseth. Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Vang Lutheran Church, 2060 County 49 Blvd. Dennison. Funeral service will take place from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Vang Lutheran Church, 2060 County 49 Blvd., Dennison.
