Marcine J. Norman, 59, Napoleon, MO., formerly of this area, died August 24, 1989, at the Independence Regional Health Center. She was born in Kansas City and lived in this area until moving to Napoleon in November 1988. Mrs. Norman was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day- Saints. Survivors include her husband, Bill Norman of the home; a son, W. Thomas Norman, Blue Springs; a daughter, Sharon M. Lewis, Pleasant Hill in Cass County; her father and stepmother, T.A. and Faye Morgan of Grants Pass, Ore.; her mother and stepfather, Irene and LeRoy Phillips of Lake Lotawana in Jackson County; a stepsister, Sonja Fields, Grants Pass; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Odessa, Mo.; burial in the Blue Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Newcomers Blue Springs Chapel.
