On Sunday, April 26, 2020, Michael Cole Douglas, 61, was called home to walk with the Lord. Born on June 23, 1958, Michael was welcomed into this world by his caring parents, Shirley Cole Douglas and Leroy Douglas Sr. Michael was a resident of Jamestown, NC most of his life, prior to his passing he was a resident at the Adams Farm Living & Rehabilitation. He attended public schools and was a graduate of Ragsdale High School, during Michael's adult life he was employed with Flower's Baking Company. Michael most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially is mother, he loved watching TV, watching the races of fast cars, his favorite race car driver was Jeff Gordon and was a avid fan of the Carolina Panthers.

Michael was blessed with an infectious smile that inspired others when meeting him, to smile with him no matter the circumstances. He was preceded in death by his brother; Leroy Douglas Jr, maternal grandparents; Ida B Cole and Booker T Cole, paternal grandparents; Atlee Douglas Dease and Anthony Dease. Michael leaves precious memories one daughter; LaTasha M. Wrenwick; three grandchildren; Zaniviah, Zaier and Zuri; his parents; Shirley and Leroy Douglas Sr; one brother; Mickey Douglas and a host of other relatives and friends including the staff and caregivers at Adams Farm Living & Rehabilitation
