Services Saturday
Thomas Levi, 90, 836 W. 1st St., died at 7:30 a.m. yesterday in St. John's Hospital after an illness of several months. He was born in Osgood and had lived in Anderson for the past 37 years.
Mr. Levi was a retired mill-wright worker having been employed in the Container Corporation for 20 years. He was a member of the Christian Church at Osgood. He and Mrs. Levi observed their 66th wedding anniversary on July 14, 1954.
The body was taken to the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church. Dr. H. L. Lanahan, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in Memorial Park.
Surviving are the widow, Ida Belle; five daughters, Mrs. Mabel Ramey, New Lebanon, O.; Mrs. Madge Johnson, Owensboro, Ky.; and Mesdames Ida Belle Berry, Irene Sanders and Katherine Campbell, all of Anderson; five sons, Weber, Detroit; Thomas Jr., Jackson, Mich.; Jerome, Denver; Eugene, New York City, and Oscar, Anderson; 37 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one half-brother, Frank Hutson, Rushville, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Willis and Mrs. Josie McClure, both of Osgood, and Mrs. Brintie Risk, Rushville.
