Katherine L. Burns, 82, of Sullivan passed away on Saturday July 11, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor. She was born on December 29, 1937, in Greene County to Perry Wilson and Sylvia (Followell) Wilson.

She was a 1956 graduate of Sullivan High School, loved sewing, quilting and going to the horse track. Katherine was the Director of Operations at the Sullivan Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Walter Burns, and a son Walter “Butch” Burns and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include 2 grandsons Greg Burns and Butch Burns and his wife Amy, great grandchildren Hailey Burns, Evan Burns, Reagan Burns, Bailey Gaskins, several other family and friends.

Services will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
