My father was born in Farnham, Virginia in 1933 to Edna Isabelle Pugh Barrack Ferrier and his father was be Zeff Vanlandingham of Calleo, Virginia. He had one half brother, Edwin. His grandparents were Rosa Bell Bevis Pugh and William Hamilton Pugh. He moved to Baltimore from Virginia when he was 12 and met my mother at Glen Burnie High School. He did not graduate because he enlisted in the US Air force in 1953. He served 4 years. They had 4 children. My parents divorced in 1979 and he never re-married. He died of throat cancer(smoking for more than 50 years). He was an exceptional carpenter. People always told me what a great job he did. He is survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 he never met.

His paternal father was Zeff Vanlandingham who he never knew but my grandmom married Edwin Barrack when dad was about 2 and gave dad his stepfathers name. His mother never revealed the truth but he found out through is grandfather and from interviews with my grandmothers sister I was able to find out his dads name and through DNA I have been connected to the Vanlandingham family. I have come across a pic of his dad and see a resemblance
