Williamstown, May 29.—Florence Finch Smith passed into rest Tuesday evening. Mrs. Smith had been ill for 4 years and confined to her bed for the past two weeks. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Perry and Eugene Finch and was born in Florence 43 years ago. She was married to James Smith in Pennsylvania March 4, 1903.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Perry Finch of Williamstown, one brother, William R. Finch of Florence and one sister, Elizabeth Finch Groat of Osceola; also six children, Claude of Amboy, Andy of Syracuse, Mrs. Gladys Mowers of Williamstown and Leola, Irene and Sherwood. Also three grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Methodist Church.
