He retired from Fischer Packing in Louisville after 43 years of service and following his retirement, David went to work for LifeSpan Resources. David was an avid fan of the New Albany Bulldogs, IU basketball and Alabama football. He loved to golf and also enjoyed going camping.
David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Loretta Mann; children, David Allen Mann (Taunya), Danny Mann (Tracy), Michael Brown (Stephanie), Jennifer Schulz, Deborah Deskins (Willie); four sisters; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
