OBITUARY

Curtis William Hubbard, 78, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2005.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cleo W. Hubbard; two sisters, Thelma H. Satterwhite and her husband, John, and Evelyn H. Osbourne; two brothers, Franklin L. Hubbard and his wife, Romane, Carroll V. Hubbard and his wife, Ann; two nieces and four nephews.

Mr. Hubbard's distinguished career with B.T. Crump Company of Richmond spanned 50 years. He served in the Virginia Air National Guard and was a longstanding member of the Virginia State Police Association. He was a member of Gilboa Christian Church, Louisa County, and attended Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, Richmond. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road, where a funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be Friday in Tazewell County, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
