Roger H. Cole (Atta Boy Luther), 85, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Adams Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur, IN.

He was born in Decatur, on March 15, 1934, the son of the late Gerald and Mildred (Liddy) Cole.

Roger was a kind and generous man. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1952-1972. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at the U.S. Postal Office and was also an Independent Appliance Repairman (ElectroCole).

Through the ministry and love of Sister Margaret Rose, he returned to his Catholic Faith.

Roger is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen Burke and Sharolyn (Tim) Faurote, both of Decatur, IN; a sister, Barbara French; a brother, Dan (Jean) Cole; 10 grandchildren, Adam Burke, Grace Manley (Billy Bailey), Lydia (Aaron) Voirol, Silas (Chelsea) Burke, Sean (Jennifer) Faurote, Ben (Catherine) Faurote, Alex (Emily) Faurote, Madalyn (David) Owens, Clark (Caitlin) Faurote and Cadence Faurote; 14 great grandchildren, Josi Burke, Garrett & Austin Manley, Halei, Calvin, Aiden, Oliver, Henry, Charlie, Hannah & Warren Faurote, Samson, Abel & Titus Owens.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dave Cole and John (Michael) Cole.

Per Rogers wishes, a private family service will be held.
