Stephen Drake Gordon departed this life on December 25, 2018 in Sacramento, Ca. He was born in Tucson, Arizona and was the son of James Barnes and Joyce Russell Barnes. At age 4, his parents were divorced and Mother Joyce remarried to Gerald Gordon, who gave him his last name. His new father was in the military, so he attended schools in Arizona, Oklahoma, Guam, Washington and California. He graduated from Vacaville High School after attending many schools. He played Pop Warner Baseball and Football, and was a star player in High School. His interest was waching Pro Football, listen to Music (Jazz). He joined a church in Vallejo, Ca and became a Deacon. He was a friendly person to many and would help those in need. He was employed at American Home Foods in Vacaville and Safeway in Vallejo, Ca.before moving to Sacramento, Ca. He was proud, kind, funny, loving and hard headed and enjoyed a good party, good cup of coffee ,a good home cooked meal, a good laugh and a good nap. He lived his live the way he wanted to and wanted to be in control of his life. He was loved and will be missed. Steve is survived by his three sisters and two brothers, cousins and one Aunt. He was preceded in death by his Biological father James, Mother Joyce Gordon, one sister Judi Gordon.
