Anna Marie Glenn, age 93, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, July 9 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on May 21, 1927 in Benton, Missouri to Clementine Elizabeth Hahn Bollinger and Victor Mike Bollinger. Anna Marie completed her RN at the St. Paul School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas. It was there that she met her future husband on a blind date. Within four weeks of meeting, they knew they were soulmates and married! They enjoyed 63 years together building a wonderful life, traveling the world, practicing medicine and volunteering often in the service of others.

After practicing medicine in Farwell, Texas for a number of years, they moved back to Southeast Missouri where Ted practiced Psychiatry and Family Medicine at Family Mental Health Center for 23 years. Upon retiring in 2001, they moved to San Antonio, Texas to be near their children.

In Cape Girardeau, they were members of Centenary Methodist Church. Anna Marie was a member of Capaha FCE and Kage FCE Clubs, Elks Ladies, and Cape Girardeau County Medical Auxiliary.

Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Theodore J. Glenn, MD., her sister Viola Dannenmueller, and four brothers, Harold, Joseph, John and Monroe Bollinger. She is also survived by her daughters--Sandra Kay Glenn (Suzanne Lindell), and Deborah Barcroft. and son, Theodore J. Glenn, Jr (Gloria). She is also survived by two grandsons Christopher Barcroft and Matt Glenn (Anna) and a granddaughter Jennifer Fugate (Josh). Six beautiful great grandchildren, Nolan, Finlay, and Hudson Fugate and Spencer, Ryder, Lily Glenn.

Due to Covid19, no funerals or gatherings will take place at this time. Her remains will be placed alongside her husband's at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
