Burial will be in Harris Creek Cemetery, Winona, TX under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.
Mrs. Moore died July 7, 2020 at UT Health East Texas, Tyler. She was born May 11, 1933 in Tyler Smith County, Texas.
She attended T.J. Austin Elementary, Emmett J. Scott High School, Butler College, and Sweat's School of Cosmetology. She was a lifetime resident of Tyler, TX. Mrs. Moore was a lifetime member of Liberty Winona Baptist Church. She was a Clerical/Secretary at Tyler Life and Hannah Life Insurance Companies, Sterling Funeral Directors and Community Funeral Home of Tyler, LLC. Mrs. Moore attended All Scotties Class Reunions, she was an Election Clerk for Smith County Democratic Party, and baked potato pies for Pine Spring Community Bake Sales.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 grandson, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors include 1 son, Kenneth (Carla) Moore; 3 daughters, Patricia (Billy) Cross, Winona, TX, Pamela (S.L.) Russell, Jr., and Karen Moore-Mitchem, all of Tyler, TX; 2 brothers, Henry M. Francis and LeRoy Francis, Sr., both of Tyler, TX; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Public viewing will be Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Tyler Chapel.
