CREVE COEUR ~ Marwood Harry Rowe, 87, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 6:04 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin.

Born December 11, 1932 in East Peoria to Marwood Joseph and May Belle (Schiff) Rowe, she married Connie Joan Lee on November 4, 1951 in Peoria. She died May 19, 2010 in Creve Coeur. He also was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Aaron Rowe.

Surviving are his four sons, Michael (Laura) Rowe of Bayview Gardens, David (JoAnn) Rowe of Creve Coeur, Ty Rowe of Creve Coeur and Bryan Rowe of Laura; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, LaVon (Robert) Rigney of Pekin.

Marwood was an independent truck driver for Wesco Electric in Peoria for 50 years. He enjoyed traveling and went by motorcycle with his wife through 47 states and 4 provinces in Canada and was an accomplished target shooter with the rifle. He was very proud of his shooting and would even reload his own shells.

His memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday July 25, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, Officiated by Chuck Tate.
