DIED - Mrs. Patience Seketer, (widow) at Brothertown, Calumet Co., Wis., Feb. 22d, 1875 aged 81 years 10 months and 17 days.
The deceased was born in the State of Rhode Island, April 17th, 1793. At the age of about 16 she removed to Onieda Co., N.Y., and resided there until the year 1834, at which time she removed to Wisconsin, where she has ever since resided. She was married to Mr. James Fowler in the year 1811 and became the mother of nine children, 4 of whom are still living. The deceased was the mother of William Fowler who was killed at the battle of Perryville, Ky. She became a widow in 1830 and so remained until the year 1840, at which time she married a Mr. John Seketer, who died about the year 1860. She was a firm believer in the Close Communion Faith, and died as she lived, a true and devoted christian.
