Camiel Landscoot was born in Belgium on August 14 ;1888 and 18 y later he came to the USA , settling in Ghent,Minnesota. He later farmed in Dickey Vincinity in Lamoure County,North Dakotha and was married to Bertha Ann Lee of La Moure in 1913. They then moved to Windsor Vincinity to farm, retiring in 1945.They have since lived at 1309 Third Avenue,Jamestown,North Dakota. He died in Trinity Hospital,JamesTown at the age of 62 y after a brief illness. He was buried on 24 July 1951 at St Pauline Cemetery, Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakotha, Reqieum Mass for Camiel Landscoot,62 who died saturday at Trintiy Hospital after a brief illnes, was offered tuesday morning at St Mathias Catholic Church in Windsor.Rev. Bernard Higgins was celebrant.Interment was in St Pauine Cemetery.Pallbearers were Peter Walzek,Paul Cichos ,John Thimmesch,Carl Liebe ,Joseph Wenzel and Joseph Cichos.
Rosary was recited at Paty Patersson Funeral Home on tusday evening with Rev. Allen Nilles, assistant Pastor of St James Catholic Church, in charge.Survivors are two daughters and two sons;Mrs Carl Anderson and Mrs Basil Cichos,Morris and Elmer Landscoot and eleven grandchildren.A son Lloyd was killed in 1943 while serving in the Phillipines during World War Two. Mr landscoot was a member of Aerie N° 2337,Fraternal Order of Eagles.Here for the services were.Mr and Mrs Chester Lee and granddaughter,Mr and Mrs leslie Lee,Mr and Mrs Fred Lee,Mrs peter Johnson ,Ralf and Edward Lee and Mr and Mrs Lyle Clark of San José, California and CPL Douglas Grabau Scott Airbase Illinois.
