Ms. Susan Seal, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 10, at Brookdale Memory Care in Alexandria. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 10:00AM in Tioga Cemetery with Dr. Jack West officiating.

Susan Lindsay Seal was born on December 5, 1950. She was a proud 1968 graduate of Tioga High School. Susan was the wife of Gary Seal. They were the parents of twin boys, Robert and Roger. She was a wonderful mom to her boys. They, along with Gary, were the light of her life. She joyfully planted herself in their activities to help any program they were participating with at the time, whether it be the Prospect Ball Park, or a Grant High club or sporting team. Susan loved “the boys” as she fondly called them and their friends. She also took pride in cleaning homes for many people through the years, most of whom became family to her. Susan was not one to be idle. She was always caring for someone. Whether making a cup of coffee, a batch of cookies, sitting with someone in need, or tending to babies in a church nursery; she was on the go. She loved Christmas, anything red, and children. As Susan slowly lost memories, she never lost her mischievous smile.

Susan was preceded in death by parents RW and Claire Alice Lindsay, husband Gary Seal, son Roger Seal, and her brother Butch Lindsay.

Those left to cherish Susan’s memory are her son Robert Seal and his wife Tammy. Two grandchildren, Tyler Nevill and Cassie Nevill (Taylor), Two sisters, Alice Dell Bodin (Calvin) and Diane Ryland (Terry), as well as her sister in law Liz Lindsay. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are some of her boys—now men: John Mitchum, Curtiss Lindsay, Tyler Nevill, Brad Woodard, Dr. Jeremy Timmer, and Kerry Roberts.

The family would like to thank the staff of Compassionate Hospice and Brookdale Memory Care for the kind and compassionate way they cared for Susan. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to The Tioga High School Alumni Association or New Prospect Baptist Church.
