Lee Gonzales, Jr., 18, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Bastrop County. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Dr. Gregory Nichols of Lexington Christian Church officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mr. Gonzales was born Sept. 22, 1988 in Rockdale to Peter Lee Gonzales, Sr. and Angela Kocian.
He was a resident of Taylor for the past six years. He was also a veterinarians assistant with Taylor Veterinary Clinic.
A special friend, Tom Underwood preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Angela Kocian of Taylor; father, Peter Lee Gonzales, Sr. of Taylor; step-mother, Kimberly Gonzales of Taylor; four brothers, Christian Stoll of Taylor, Ethan Thomas Gonzales of Taylor, Andy Garza of Taylor and Angel Garza of Taylor; sister, Kandace Kocian of Taylor; grandparents, Jerome and Carolyn Kocian of Rockdale and Irene Rodriguez of Rockdale; step-grandparents, John and Gloria Torres of Taylor; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Randy Kocian, Ronald Kocian, Eric Camacho, Mick Pachicano, Gabe Trevino and Jesse Martinez.
Honorary pallbearers were his brothers and sister.
