Other survivors include four children, Holli J. Terrell of Martinsville, A. Todd (Kim) Bemis of Bargersville, Marci K. (Fletcher) Newman of New Albany and Billy L. (Mindy) Bemis of Greenwood; a brother, James Bemis of Indianapolis; and eight grandchildren, Beau, Brooks, Ellie, Charlie, Evie and Sadie Bemis and Jordan and Quinton Terrell. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Billy Lee and Michael D. Bemis.
Larry was a devoted husband and a beloved father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired in 1994 from Chrysler Corp., where he had been a machinist. He was a longtime Little League coach and loved all sports, especially Indiana University teams.
Services were entrusted to Costin Funeral Chapels of Martinsville, Indiana.
