Edward Donnell O'Neill, of 715 Larch street, a brother of State Representative Harry P. O'Neill, of Dunmore, died this morning in Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. He was a cleric at the state highway department at Chinchilla.

Mr. O'Neill was a member of Council No. 230. Knights of Columbus, St. Paul's Church, Green Ridge, and St. Peter's. Cathedral Choir.

Surviving are his widow, the former Mary Reilly, of West Scranton, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. James Mahady, of Latrobe; Mrs. Anthony Ruddy, Mrs. Thomas Gaughan, Mrs. Sadie Coughlin, Miss Marguerite O'Neill, State Representative O'Neill, Joseph and Frank O'Neill.

Requiem mass held in St Paul’s Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
