Maxie Eugene Cadwallender, 24, an employee of the Bellwood Coal Company, at Bellwood, Fayette County, was killed in an accident on Sewell Mountain early Sunday morning. State police said he evidently lost control of his car and it plunged over an embankment about half a mile west of Rainelle on the Midland Trail. He is survived by a brother, George Cadwallender; a sister. Mrs. Arch King: and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Cadwallender, all of Longacre. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of his grandfather, G. A. Reynolds, of Putnam County at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery.
